STICKERSLAB full aluminium sealing tape is designed to close the ends of multiwall polycarbonate sheets and is an important component for correctly installing greenhouses, canopies, sheds, porches and roofs.
Its solid structure allows the cells to be closed where ventilation is not required, helping to limit the entry of water, dust, dirt and other debris inside the polycarbonate cells.
Multiwall polycarbonate sheets have internal cells that are open at the ends. If these ends are not correctly protected, dirt, dust and moisture may enter over time.
Full aluminium tape is used to create a continuous seal along the sheet edge and protect the cells before fitting the end profile.
In normal sloped installations, full aluminium sealing tape is mainly used on the top edge of the sheet.
On the bottom edge, where ventilation and possible condensation management are needed, it is preferable to use a specific ventilated or filtering tape for multiwall polycarbonate.

The tape width should be chosen according to the sheet thickness and the surface available for correct application on both sides of the panel.

Note: the indicated thicknesses are approximate. Before application, check that the selected width provides an adequate bonding surface on both sides of the sheet.
The tape is particularly suitable for closing sheets used in greenhouses, canopies, sheds, porches, roofs, skylights and other multiwall polycarbonate structures.
Before application, make sure that the sheet edge is clean, dry and free from dust.
Centre the tape on the sheet end and apply it progressively to both sides with even pressure, avoiding folds or areas that do not adhere.
After taping, we recommend completing the edge with an end profile suitable for multiwall polycarbonate, to provide additional protection to the sealed area.
The 12.5 m roll provides a practical quantity for many installation and maintenance jobs, avoiding much longer professional rolls when they are not needed.
For a complete system, this tape can be combined with the Micro-perforated Ventilated Aluminium Tape for Multiwall Polycarbonate or the Filtering Dust-Proof Tape for Multiwall Polycarbonate, to be used on the bottom edge according to the installation type.
