Anti-slip floor sign 43 cm – ISO 7010 safety symbols, self-adhesive floor marking for warehouses and workshops
- A reminder on the floor, right where it is needed – stick it exactly where it counts: at the entrance to the forklift area, where aisles cross, on the edge of the work area.
- ISO 7010 symbols, no words – understood at a glance, even by people who do not speak English: forklift trucks in motion, pedestrian route, prohibitions and mandatory actions.
- 43 cm in size – clearly visible even in a wide aisle or a large warehouse.
- Made in the United Kingdom, with technical data sheet – rigid anti-slip PVC, R10 to DIN 51130, resistant to engine oil and removable; the test data are in the technical data sheet.
- Protected print – the design is covered by a clear film that protects it from foot and trolley traffic.
- Fitted in a minute – clean floor, peel off the backing and press down: ready to use straight away. It also works on walls and doors.
- 8 symbols to choose from – forklift trucks, pedestrian route, no pedestrians, no unauthorised access, no smoking, safety footwear, high visibility, hearing protection.
Self-adhesive floor sign 43 cm – ISO 7010 safety symbols
A reminder on the floor, in the right place
In warehouses and workshops the wall signs are already there, but anyone pushing a pallet truck or carrying a box looks straight ahead and down at the floor. The floor sign puts the message right there: at the entrance to the forklift area, where aisles cross, at the door of the department where safety footwear or ear defenders are required, on the edge of the workshop where customers must not go. It does not replace the signs required by your risk assessment: it repeats them where an extra reminder is needed.
Eight symbols, no words
The symbols are those of the ISO 7010 standard, the same as on safety signs: the yellow triangle warns of forklift trucks in motion, the blue circles show mandatory actions (pedestrian route, safety footwear, high-visibility clothing, hearing protection) and the red crossed-out circles show prohibitions (no pedestrians, no smoking). The no unauthorised access sign uses the raised hand symbol from the German standard DIN 4844-2 (D-P006). With no text, they are understood even by people who do not speak English: useful where people of different nationalities work or where drivers and suppliers come and go.
Anti-slip, hard-wearing, made in the United Kingdom
The sign is made of rigid PVC with the design printed and covered by a laminated clear film, which protects the print from foot and trolley traffic. The surface is anti-slip, class R10 to DIN 51130; it resists water and engine oil, which is useful in workshops, and works from -30 to +70 °C. It is removable, so you can move it if the layout of the space changes. It is made in the United Kingdom and has a technical data sheet with tests by an independent laboratory. At 43 cm it is easy to see even in a wide aisle.
How to fit it
The floor must be clean, dry and free of dust: wipe it with a degreaser or a cloth with alcohol and let it dry. Decide on the position and, if you like, draw round the outline with a pencil. Peel off the backing, place the sign and press it down firmly from the centre outwards, ideally with a roller, to push out the air. Fit it at temperatures above 10 °C; the sign can be used straight away. It also sticks to smooth walls and doors.
Where to use it
In warehouses at the entrance to forklift aisles and where pedestrians cross; in workshops on the edge of the work area; in departments with noisy machinery or where safety footwear and clothing are required; in loading areas, laboratories and storerooms.
Frequently asked questions
How big is it?
The round signs are 43 cm in diameter.
Can it be removed?
Yes, it is a removable sign: you can move it if the layout of your warehouse or workshop changes.
Does it replace wall-mounted safety signs?
No, it works alongside them. The signs required by your risk assessment stay in place; the floor sign repeats the message where people look as they walk.
Which floors does it stick to?
On smooth, compact indoor floors: smooth or painted concrete, resin, tiles. It sticks less well to rough, dusty concrete, so clean it very thoroughly before fitting.
Do I need them for a workplace traffic management plan?
A warehouse traffic management plan usually separates vehicle routes from pedestrian routes and uses lines and pictograms to mark storage areas and the routes where forklifts and pedestrians pass. Self-adhesive signs, corners, footprints and arrows are tools for doing this; what you actually need is decided by your company's risk assessment.
What is in the pack?
One self-adhesive floor sign with the symbol of your choice.
