Kevlar® aramid fiber allows you to dare more. It is used in a wide range of garments, accessories, and devices to make them safer and more cut-resistant. It is lightweight, durable, and incredibly strong. Best known for its use in ballistics and in cut-resistant vests such as bulletproof ones.

However, it is also used on ski slopes, winding mountain trails, treacherous desert terrain, and even in space.

Aramid fabric of 240 g/sqm, flame-retardant, high mechanical strength but above all with very high abrasion and extreme heat resistance; used in aerospace and military applications.
Thanks to its plain weave and drapeability, it is very easy to work with and easily adaptable to curved or spherical shapes.
The same fabric is used for the creation of helmets and specific protections or as an asbestos substitute. Also perfect as reinforcement for carbon fiber products to prevent the carbon from shattering into many pieces in case of breakage.
We recommend impregnating Kevlar fiber fabrics with epoxy matrix resins (all our fabrics are compatible with the epoxy resins available in our stores) to achieve the best possible aesthetic and structural performance.
When using only Kevlar fiber to make a component, one should expect to use several layers of this fabric in every part. Usually, all components, structural and non-structural, require at least 4 to 6 plies of a fabric of this weight.
The molecules are oriented in the direction of the fiber and this feature can be best exploited thanks to the chemical bond.

All fabrics will be shipped rolled on a tube.
