This light stick uses a chemical reaction called chemiluminescence to generate light.
To activate it, simply bend the stick, breaking the vial inside. The chemical compounds then mix and start the luminous reaction, which has a duration of about 24 hours.
The light stick provides a strong, effective light within seconds, without producing heat, without batteries or sparks, and in all weather conditions.
It requires no maintenance: simply snap it and shake it for a few seconds to obtain a device suitable for any lighting need, including emergency signalling.
A special hook at the end allows it to be hung up when needed. It floats, is waterproof and withstands all weather conditions from -5 to +70 °C.
It can also be used underwater.
It is non-toxic, non-corrosive and non-polluting. If the container breaks, the liquid inside does not harm skin or eyes.
It provides 360° visibility for 8–12 hours without producing heat or flame and can be used in the presence of flammable and explosive substances.
