Chrome-effect spray for metal, wood, plastic and ceramics

Macota Cromolux is a decorative spray enamel that gives surfaces a bright, modern chrome look. Its formula of resins and new-generation pigments makes the finish very glossy and hard-wearing. It can be used on metal surfaces, wood, stone, terracotta, ceramics and most plastics.

For the brightest result

The chrome effect looks its best on a dark, smooth and even base: on light-coloured or rough surfaces the result is less bright. If the part is bare or has areas of different colours, apply an even base coat first.

How to apply

1. Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly, then let it dry.
2. Work at a temperature between 20 and 25 °C.
3. Shake the can well and spray from about 25 cm, in light coats.
4. Use nitro thinner or acetone to remove overspray and clean your tools.

Frequently asked questions

Is the result the same as electroplated chrome?
No: it is a chrome-effect paint. It gives a bright, chrome-like finish, but it is not electroplating.

Can it be used on plastic?
Yes, on most plastics. On unusual plastics, test it first on a hidden spot.
