Bi-component transparent epoxy resin for pigments 1.6 kg

• High performance bi-component epoxy system for application in films and castings up to 3 cm thick. In addition to the high transparency (water effect) and the self-leveling properties, it guarantees a good mechanical seal for reinforcement and applications with carbon fiber.

The product is characterized by a low viscosity which reduces the presence of air bubbles after hardening and facilitates the impregnation of the carbon fiber. The excellent resistance to environmental humidity guarantees a shiny and transparent surface.

The product is compatible with the main coloring pastes on the market. The Transparent Epoxy resin is a two-component product based on epoxy resins and its amine hardener.

The product can be colored with any epoxy colorant (both paste and powder) in a percentage from 0.1% to 2.0%). Furthermore, it can be thickened with the use of inert materials such as powders and pyrogenic silica. These characteristics make the transparent Epoxy resin ideal for the following applications: Model making, Artistic creations, Fiberglass repairs, Protective outdoor coatings, Artistic flooring, Boating, Impregnation of technical fabrics (fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar).
