Vulkollan®, a material with elasticity similar to that of rubber, in its classic form is a polyurethane elastomer based on 1,5-naphthalene-diisocyanate, polyester polyol and special chain extenders. It is produced by hot casting molding.

Polyurethane-based elastomers are distinguished by a large number of exceptional characteristics. Their combination makes them ideal for a wide range of applications, including demanding ones. For example: high resistance to dynamic stress, good resistance to UV radiation, ozone, fats and oils, low temperature dependence, high wear resistance, low permanent deformation, high impact elasticity, high tear resistance.

The Polyurethane we supply can be manufactured in the hardness range between 65 Sh°A and 95 Sh°A. The mechanical properties are particularly enhanced in the hardness range between 80 Sh°A and 95 Sh°A, as these types of Polyurethanes hold the largest market share.

The Polyurethane Round Bar (Vulkollan® and Adiprene®) is a professional high-performance semi-finished product designed for industrial applications requiring extreme resistance and durability. This solid red rod, with a hardness of 90 Shore A, combines the elasticity of rubber with the mechanical strength of structural plastics.

Manufactured via hot casting based on 1,5-naphthalene diisocyanate and special chain extenders, this elastomer offers superior performance compared to standard commercial polyurethanes, ensuring stability even under heavy dynamic stress.
