  • Wide range of hardness levels. It also has the elongation and resilience of high-hardness rubber. The hardness range of the polyurethane panel is Shore A 90.
  • High strength. Its tensile strength, tear resistance and load-bearing capacity are much higher than those of general rubber at the same hardness. Under high hardness conditions, its impact and bending resistance are far superior to those of plastics.
  • Wear resistant. Its wear resistance is truly outstanding, generally in the range of 0.01–0.10 (cm3)/1.61 km, about 3–5 times that of rubber.
  • Oil resistant. The polyurethane panel is a strong polar polymer compound, which has little affinity with non-polar mineral oil and is hardly corroded in fuel oil or mechanical oil.
  • Professional material supplied with technical datasheet, red color available in the thicknesses and sizes listed below. Free shipping throughout Italy.

Vulkollan®, a material with elasticity similar to rubber, in its classic form is a polyurethane elastomer based on 1,5-naphthalene diisocyanate, polyester polyol, and special chain extenders.

It is produced through hot-cast molding. Polyurethane-based elastomers are distinguished by a large number of exceptional properties. Their combination makes them ideal for a wide range of uses, including demanding and specialized applications. Examples include: high resistance to dynamic stress, good resistance to UV radiation, ozone, fats and oils, low temperature dependency, high wear resistance, low permanent deformation, high impact elasticity, and high tear resistance.

The polyurethane we supply can be produced in a hardness range from 65 Sh°A to 95 Sh°A. The mechanical properties are particularly enhanced in the hardness range between 80 Sh°A and 95 Sh°A, which are the types of polyurethane with the largest market share. Sheet thickness tolerance: +/- 0.3 mm. Sheet dimension tolerance: +/- 2%.

Raw material: Polyurethane (PU); Color: red. Specific weight: 1.23.

Applications: – Conveyor and process belts. – Machine belts. – Modular belts. – Power transmission belts. – Guide and transport profiles. – Round belts. – Timing belts.
