- It is sold in the size of 80cm x 50cm x 20mm (thickness) with adhesive, density 400 Kg/m2 and white color.
- The cotton felt is compliant with ROHS, ISO9001 standards and has a B1 level of fire resistance. The material PET+PP+Non-Woven Fabric ensures an excellent level of soundproofing.
- Very easy to install as it is adhesive and can be cut with scissors. It also offers many benefits: reducing air conditioning energy consumption, saving fuel, and keeping your car cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
- It has excellent absorption properties and good vibration resistance, capable of reducing wind noise, road noise and engine noise.
- It can be installed anywhere in the vehicle, such as doors, roofs, floors, engine compartment, trunk, hood, etc.
- The product comes as a flexible mat in white color, soft to the touch, particularly resistant to biological agents such as bacteria, fungi, mold, and to natural decay.
It can be used as thermal insulation for heat dissipation, reducing air conditioning energy consumption, saving fuel, and keeping your car cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
It has excellent absorption properties and good vibration resistance, capable of reducing environmental wind, road noise and engine noise.
It helps to distribute engine heat evenly to avoid overheating of the engine hood. It can be installed in any part of the vehicle, such as doors, roofs, floors, hood, trunk compartment, engine cover, etc. Universally suitable for most car models.
Adhesive polyester/cotton sound-absorbing mat for cars — acoustic & thermal insulation
Adhesive sound-absorbing panel made of polyester/cotton fiber (PET + PP + non-woven), engineered for cabin soundproofing and noise reduction (wind, road, engine). The soft, porous surface absorbs sound waves while the pressure-sensitive adhesive enables fast, clean installation.
Key benefits (no fluff)
- Noise reduction in the cabin: cuts hiss, resonance and structure-borne vibrations.
- Thermal comfort: helps keep the car cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
- Easy installation: self-adhesive; cut with scissors or a utility knife and apply in minutes.
- Compact & flexible: conforms to curves, resists mold/fungi and does not crumble.
- Compliant materials (e.g., RoHS) and certified processes (e.g., ISO) — see the data sheet.
Where to use it in the car
- Doors (behind trim): damps panel vibration and external noise.
- Roof liner: reduces large-area resonance and rain/hail noise.
- Floor & tunnel: attenuates tire/road rumble and chassis vibrations.
- Trunk & inner wheel arches: cuts boom and tire noise.
- Firewall (cabin side) and hood liner*: improves perceived comfort.
*Only on suitable surfaces, away from direct heat sources — see limits below.
Installation (step-by-step)
- Prep: work in a dry area >10 °C. Remove trim, degrease metal with IPA and dry.
- Template & cut: make a paper template, cut with scissors/knife and dry-fit.
- Apply: peel liner gradually and press evenly from center to edges. Use a roller to improve adhesion.
- Joints: butt-joint without overlap. Do not cover drain holes or fasteners.
- Reassemble: ensure no interference with levers, windows, wiring or airbags.
Pro tips
- Best combo: on thin sheet metal, first apply a constrained-layer damper (butyl/bitumen mass), then this absorber as the acoustic layer for maximum results.
- Clearance: check space in doors, headliner and tunnel before installing.
- Temperature: PSA sticks better warm; in winter gently warm the substrate.
Honest limits & compliance
- Heat: do not apply on parts with direct high-temperature exposure (manifolds, turbo, exhaust). Refer to the data sheet for operating temperature limits.
- Moisture: do not block drains; in splash zones, finish edges and inspect periodically.
- Fire rating: level and standards (e.g., B1) per manufacturer docs; this does not replace vehicle type approvals.
Material features
- Structure: PET + PP + non-woven with high sound-absorption capacity.
- Resistant to bacteria, fungi and mold; low-odor.
- Pressure-sensitive adhesive for quick layup on clean, dry metal, plastics and painted panels.

FAQ
Where does it work best?Doors (behind trim), roof, floor, inner wheel arches and trunk offer the best time/benefit ratio.
Can I use it in the engine bay or under the hood?Yes, only on suitable areas away from direct heat. Respect the max temperature in the data sheet.
Do I need primer or glue?Usually no: the adhesive is integrated. On difficult plastics, a plastic primer may help.
Can I really cut it with scissors?Yes. For precise shapes, make a paper template and finish with a knife on a metal straightedge.
Is it universal? It’s universal, but always check clearances (window regulators, airbags, clips) first.
Note: values like density, thickness, dimensions, certifications (e.g., RoHS/ISO/B1) and thermal limits are listed in the data sheet and product variants.
