Silicone tube of color neutral/transparent straw yellow, with excellent resistance weathering, oxidation and aging. Indicated when other elastomers tend to stiffen or degrade with heat.

Important notes (to be read, as they prevent returns and disputes)
Dimensional tolerances: indicative 5%–10% on diameter and thickness (variable based on the Ø). Surface appearance: for production/storage the external surface can be treated with talc, with a milky-matte effect. Exposure to light: materialphotosensitive, it can yellow in the sun while maintaining its mechanical properties unchanged. Food grade: available on request in FG version according to BgVV (BGA) and FDA §177.2600.strong>Medical use: Not for use in medical applications inside and/or outside the human body.rong>

High Temperature Silicone Hose FAQ
1) How do I choose the right size (internal Ø x external Ø)?h3>
Measurements are always given as Ø internal x Ø external (mm)strong>.The Internal diameter/strong> must match the diameter of the fitting/coupling where the pipe enters. External diameter/strong> Determine the wall thickness (the thicker it is, the “stronger” the pipe). If in doubt, measure the fitting with a caliper or contact us before purchasing.
2) Is the tube “perfectly” transparent like glass?
No: it isstrong>transparent straw yellow (slightly amber/natural). Hue may vary slightly between batches. This it's not a defect/strong>.
3) Why can the tube turn yellow over time?h3>
Silicone isstrong>photosensitive: if exposed to light (especially direct sunlight) it canstrong>change color and turn yellowThe mechanical properties generally remainunchanged. To keep the color more stable, store the tube away from light./p>
4) Is it normal for the surface to look dull or “dusted”?
Yes. Some tubes may exhibit an effectstrong>opaque-milky or surface residues due to manufacturing/storage treatments. This is normal and does not affect use. If necessary, it can be cleaned with a soft cloth.
5) At what temperature can I actually use it?
Operating temperature up to +180°C/strong>, with short tips +240/+250°C/strong>The “peaks” are short: continuous use above +180°C can reduce the life of the product.
6) Is it resistant to petrol and solvents?
Has medium resistance to gasoline and aromatic solvents, but poor resistance to solvents in general. If you need to pass specific solvents (e.g. acetone, thinners, particular alcohols, chlorinated), write to us first By specifying the fluid, we help you verify compatibility and avoid making the wrong purchase./p>
7) Is it resistant to acids and bases?
Yes: it hasstrong>excellent chemical resistance And excellent resistance to acids and bases, as well as good resistance to oxidation and aging.
8) Is the length 10 meters or can I have it different?/h3>
The standard supply isstrong>10 meter roll. For those who wish, it is also availablestrong>50 meter full roll on request.
9) There are tolerances on the mmeasures?
Yes. As with all technical pipes, there may bestrong>dimensional tolerances on diameter and thickness. If you require a “tight” tolerance for a critical assembly, please contact us before ordering.
10) Can I use it for food or medical applications?
If you need food use, there are versions Food Grade available upon request (specify your requirement before purchasing).ong>Not indicated for medical use/strong> inside and/or outside the human body, unless specifically certified.
11) When is a return NOT acceptable (to avoid misunderstandings)?/h3>
- Wrong diameter choice (internal/external Ø) if you have not asked us to check first./li>
- Request for “perfect transparency” when the material is naturally straw-coloured.
- Yellowing due to exposure to light (characteristic of silicone).
- Damage or deformations caused by use with incompatible solvents or unsuitable temperatures.
- Cut/used rolls or rolls with damaged packaging (where applicable).
