Adhesive foam rubber seal for doors, windows and machinery

Aerstop® SE32CE foam rubber profile with adhesive already applied on one side: cut it to length and press it into place, with no glue or tools. It is closed-cell rubber: it seals out air, water and dust, insulates against cold and noise and damps vibration.

Specifications

• Material: EPDM-CR elastomer, density 130 kg/m³ (±20).
• Temperature: up to 100 °C continuous, up to 115 °C for short periods.
• Elasticity: compressed by up to 15-25% of its thickness it returns to its original shape; excellent ozone resistance.
• Roll: 10 metres.
• Sizes (width × thickness): 10 × 2 mm, 10 × 3 mm, 15 × 2 mm, 15 × 3 mm, 20 × 5 mm. Other sizes on request.

Typical uses

• Draughts around doors and windows, including garages and cellars.
• Doors of cabinets, panels and machinery, against dust and water.
• Between panels or metal sheets, to damp vibration and noise.
• In construction, as a seal on joints and profiles.

Choosing the thickness

Choose a thickness slightly greater than the gap to be sealed, so the seal stays slightly compressed and holds well.

How to apply

1. Clean and degrease the surface, then let it dry.
2. Cut the profile to the length you need.
3. Peel off the liner a little at a time and press the profile firmly along its whole length.
