URSA TERRA PLUS 70 – thermal and acoustic insulation for walls and atticsh2>

URSA TERRA PLUS 70 is a hydrophobic mineral wool panel with CE EN 13162 certification, produced with URSA BiOnic technology. It guarantees excellent thermal insulation (λD 0.035 W/mK) and fire safety (Euroclass A1). The 0.60 x 1.40 m format is suitable for quick installation in drywall systems and false walls.p>

Why choose it/h3>

  • Thermal performance: λD 0.035 W/mK; RD up to 4.00 m²K/W depending on thickness.there>
  • Reaction to fire A1: non-combustible, suitable for residential and commercial use.
  • Acoustic comfort: excellent absorption and resistance to air flow (AFr≥5 kPa s/m²).
  • Easy to lay: lightweight panels, clean cut with a cutter or hacksaw.

Installation and DIY tips

  1. Cutting : measure the center distance, add 1 cm and cut the panel with a cutter/jigsaw for a snap-fit.
  2. Drywall : Insert the panels between the studs, avoiding gaps. Close with panels (double panels for better acoustic performance).
  3. Attics : Place the panels between the structural elements, without crushing them. Maintain the continuity of the insulation.
  4. Airtightness : seal joints and system holes with specific tapes/masses to maximize performance.
  5. Safety : wear gloves, long sleeves, and goggles; ventilate the rooms during and after application.

FAQ

Is it moisture-resistant? Yes, it's hydrophobic and has a long-term water absorption of <3 kg/m²; it should not be exposed to direct rain during installation.

Is it suitable for external insulation? No: it's designed for drywall systems, false walls, and attics. For external insulation, use dedicated ETICS systems.

Is a vapor barrier needed? It depends on the stratigraphic layout and the climate. In heated interiors, consider airtightness on the warm side.

How big are they?tity?/strong> For large orders contact us: we prepare customized quotes and we optimize shipping.
