URSA XPS ECO NIII L high-strength thermal insulation
URSA XPS ECO NIII L is a CE-marked extruded polystyrene board with smooth surfaces and L-shaped shiplap edges. It is designed for floors beneath screed or slab, flat and inverted roofs, and below-grade walls where high mechanical strength and very low water absorption are required.
Key benefits
- Compression strength CS(10/Y): 300 kPa; 50-year creep strength: 130 kPa.
- Closed cells ≥ 95%; very low long-term water absorption.
- L-shaped edge for tight joints and reduced thermal bridging.
- High recycled-content ECO range with CAM and EPD documentation.
Sizes and thermal performance
Board size: 1250 x 600 mm. A standard pack contains 10 boards and covers 7.5 m². Available thicknesses: 30, 40, 50, 60, 80 and 100 mm. Declared thermal conductivity varies from 0.032 to 0.034 W/mK; thermal resistance ranges from 0.90 to 3.15 m²K/W according to thickness.
Installation
Install on a clean, level and dry base with staggered joints and fully engaged shiplap edges. For floors, roofs and below-grade applications, provide the vapour control, fixing, ballast, drainage and mechanical protection required by the project. Protect the boards from prolonged UV exposure.
Important
This product is not intended as an ETICS façade board. Always select thickness and build-up according to the designer’s thermal calculation and the technical data sheet.
